Have you considered training in Mental Health First Aid?
Just like a physical first aider a professionally trained Mental Health First Aider is qualified to support someone with poor mental health in a confident, calm and professional manner.
Qualifying as a Mental Health First Aider gives you the knowledge and confidence to be there for adults in your community and workplace. Teaching you how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis.
Online training is available to ensure you have a qualified member on your team who is able to look after the wellbeing of others. Ensuring they have the knowledge to support those with common mental health issues and provides them with the skills to intervene early, to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis.
