Avoiding Burnout

There are many reasons people find themselves at breaking point, with work deadlines looming and a busy home life, stress levels tend to rise quickly. One of the first things we forget is to prioritise our own wellbeing and health, be it physically or mentally. Our Harley Street Nutritionist will discuss the “Human Stress Response” and how to notice key signals from your body before burnout. The session then delves into how stress affects the body, looking at common unknown triggers and necessary nutrients to build up resilience. Staying mindful of our consumption and maintaining a healthy diet is all part of our ‘tool kit’ as human beings to manage stressful situations; this session will advise on food and drinks that should be avoided and look at the nutrients that are depleted by Chronic Stress.
