Finding Peace Through Sound

While some might think this sounds 'woo woo', we can look to science for an explanation. In this session, we will explore a brief history of sound as a healing modality, learn the science behind why it works, and then embark on an immersive sound meditation journey to experience the powerful practice first-hand. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how and why sound can be used to find peace in your everyday life, as well as a lasting sense of calm, clarity, and wellbeing.

How to set up at home:

  • Wear headphones for the best sound experience
  • Listen from the Zoom desktop app and make sure you have a strong internet connection
  • Find a comfortable spot to lie down
  • Grab a blanket to keep yourself warm, a pillow to support your head, and an eye mask to
  • cover your eyes
  • Light a scented candle or use essential oils to create a relaxing atmosphere
